Cook Yourself Skinny – Lean Meals You Can Make in Minutes – Book Review
Cook Yourself Thin – Skinny Meals You Can Make in Minutes is exactly what the title suggests. It’s a book full of delicious recipes that will make you lose weight without sacrificing the taste of your food. I was a little nervous at first when I saw the book, because it’s all been said, it’s all been promised, and in the midst of those promises of weight loss “in just weeks!” most recipes, products, exercise machines, and routines just don’t work for everyone.
Another doubt I have came from the “easy recipes” the book promises to do. Like I said, I’ve tried other recipes before, and either the ingredients are expensive or hard to find, or the easier ones just don’t taste good enough to indulge in. It was a very dodgy start for me, but still there was something about Cook Yourself Thin that made me want to buy it.
After bringing the book home, I immediately tried a dish that I have always loved: lasagna. I figured that since I know how to make one, it would be easier for me to adapt to the type of cuisine the cookbook provides. It started out a bit difficult, as some of the ingredients listed were indeed a bit difficult to find. Nevertheless, I continued, just to confirm to myself that what I was doing was a bad idea. But after following all the instructions and tasting my finished product, I was surprised at the quality of my lasagna! The most amazing part was that when I checked the time, I had actually done so within minutes. 20 minutes to be exact.
Cook Yourself Thin – Skinny Meals You Can Make in Minutes has only been with me for a week, but day after day I find something amazing to do in the kitchen. I don’t know what made me buy it in the first place, but I did so despite my doubts about anything to do with weight loss made easy. I can honestly say that out of all the cookbooks I own, I find Cook Yourself Thin to be at the top of my list of the most useful and effective books to deliver on its weight loss promise. Not only will the recipes make you lose weight, but they are also healthy and delicious. The meals are a complete package, and I’m glad I was able to get a copy of Cook Yourself Thin while the store still had some.
